The Department of Psychiatry and Psychology within the Neurological Institute (NI) at Cleveland Clinic has an immediate need to recruit full-time Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist at our Marymount Hospital. Board-certified or board  eligibility is required. Experience in high functioning mood disorders and Intensive Outpatient Programs are highly desired. The candidate will staff a new 10 bed adult inpatient unit with niche outpatient and bridge follow up clinical duties. Marymount is a dynamic regional hospital of the Cleveland Clinic, where the Department has nurtured a growing psychiatry hub of outpatient clinics, 56 inpatient psychiatry beds, 4 IOPs, and an ECT and CL service. Teaching opportunities exist with our medical students, psychiatry residents, and fellows.

The Department of Psychiatry and Psychology is a growing department in the Neurological Institute, with 137 clinicians, including 57 psychiatrists, and four service lines of Outpatient Psychiatry, Inpatient Psychiatry (total 200 beds), Emergency Psychiatry / Consultation Psychiatry, and 14 Intensive Outpatient Programs.

We have a growing Psychiatric Treatment Resistant Program, with advanced therapies such as TMS, DBS, Ketamine, and psychedelics, coupled with a robust ECT program. We are also expanding Geropsychiatry, Neuropsychiatry, and Womens Behavioral Health. With our hospitals in the Cleveland Clinic health system, we are one of the largest inpatient and outpatient psychiatric providers in Northeast Ohio.

In January 2027, the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology will move into a new, state-of-the-art Neurological Institute building, providing a once in a lifetime environment for interdisciplinary clinical work and discovery.
