You will play a crucial role in delivering specialized endocrine care to children and adolescents, ensuring continuity of care through both onsite and remote support.

Required Skills

• Board-certified or eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology
• Valid medical license with the ability to obtain a temporary Alaska state license
• Proven experience in pediatric endocrine assessment and management
• Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with telemedicine platforms and virtual care delivery
• Prior experience in hospital-based endocrinology consultation
• Knowledge of current pediatric endocrine guidelines and research
• Bilingual proficiency in relevant languages

Preferred Education and Experience

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric endocrinology

Other Requirements

• Ability to commit to long-term, ongoing coverage
• Willingness to perform virtual call coverage on a 24-hour basis when required
• Flexibility to work two weeks per month in clinic and two weeks per month on virtual hospital call
• License, certification, travel, and other reimbursements provided as applicable
• Hourly pay rate of $1.00
