Mercy Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) to join our established Inpatient Hospitalist team at St. Anne Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment within a respected, mission-driven health system.
Position Highlights
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (night shift)
- Setting: 100% inpatient hospital medicine
- Volume: ~8-10 patients per shift
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform admissions, consults, transfers, and follow-up care
- Conduct bedside assessments, H&Ps, and rounding
- Assist with rapid responses and acute patient needs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Ensure timely documentation and high-quality patient care
- Provide patient and family education

- Collaborative team
- Physician collaborator support and mentorship available
- Strong interdisciplinary support including nursing and hospital services
- Established hospitalist program within Mercy Health
Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Acute care certification preferred (AGACNP or equivalent for NPs)
- BLS and ACLS required
- Experience preferred; new graduates welcome
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to team-based care
