Physician - Gastroenterology

Unio Specialty Care is seeking Gastroenterologists to join our team of physicians. This opportunity is for an individual interested in helping grow our GI service line, delivering exceptional care to our patients, and contributing to our organization's mission of providing high-quality services.

Position Highlights

• Specialty: Gastroenterology (Advanced GI Hospitalist opportunity available)
• Locations: Lancaster, Santa Barbara, Camarillo, and Orange, CA
• Practice Type: Private Practice | Full-Time 
• Practice Setting:
• Outpatient (most locations)
• GI Hospitalist role (Orange) – 7 on / 7 off, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (Outpatient)
• Patient Volume: 3–4 patients/hour; ~25/day once ramped
• Call: 1:4–1:7 (varies by location) with additional stipend
• Team Structure: Established physician and APP support across all sites
• Technology: Athena EMR; advanced diagnostic equipment available (select locations)
• Openings: 4 positions due to growth and retirement

Position Benefits

• Compensation:
• General GI: $450K – $475K
• GI Hospitalist: $600K – $650K
• Production-based model (wRVU)

Position Requirements:

• MD or DO
• California Medical License (or ability to obtain)
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
