• Call ratio: 1 week per month, 24/7 for 7 consecutive days
• 20 clinic patients per day
• Level 1 trauma center
• Patients initially seen by APPs, reviewed with neurosurgeon
• EVD placement, craniotomies, spine trauma surgery required
• On-call coverage for transfer requests and phone consults
• 5-10 surgeries per month
• Combined cranial and spine call coverage
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
