Nurse Practitioner - Oncology

Required Skills:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in South Carolina
• Certification in Oncology Nursing or related specialization preferred
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications
• Proven experience in Medical Oncology or related clinical settings
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and patient management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Bone Marrow Transplants or Hematology
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience in oncology settings
• Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, considered a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of postgraduate clinical experience in oncology or hematology
• Prior experience in outpatient and inpatient oncology care

Other Requirements:

• Must complete credentialing process, estimated within 60 days
• Willingness to provide inpatient rounding on weekends and participate in rotation call schedule
• Reimbursement for travel, lodging, and related expenses based on IRS standards
