Required Skills:

• Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in relevant state
• Proven experience in neurosurgery or critical care settings
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion

Nice to Have Skills:

• Advanced certifications in neurosurgery or critical care nursing/PA programs
• Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations
• Experience with advanced neurosurgical procedures or research activities
• Knowledge of hospital protocols and trauma center operations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) for Nurse Practitioners or Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies for PAs
• Minimum of 2 years of neurosurgical experience or equivalent surgical practice
• Current certification through recognized bodies such as ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA

Other Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain relevant medical licenses and certifications
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential on-call shifts
• No open or closed malpractice claims with payments in the past 10 years (Candidate must have a clean malpractice history)
• Travel reimbursements and certification/licensure expenses may apply
