Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery, Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery

Required Skills:
- Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in relevant state
- Proven experience in neurosurgery or critical care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion
Nice to Have Skills:
- Advanced certifications in neurosurgery or critical care nursing/PA programs
- Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Experience with advanced neurosurgical procedures or research activities
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and trauma center operations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) for Nurse Practitioners or Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies for PAs
- Minimum of 2 years of neurosurgical experience or equivalent surgical practice
- Current certification through recognized bodies such as ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA
Other Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant medical licenses and certifications
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential on-call shifts
- No open or closed malpractice claims with payments in the past 10 years (Candidate must have a clean malpractice history)
- Travel reimbursements and certification/licensure expenses may apply
