Physician - Pediatrics

Job Title: Pediatrician – Locum, Full-Time Opportunity in High Desert

Required Skills:

• Valid and active California medical license
• California DEA certification
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years of residency
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems
• Strong clinical skills in pediatrics with the ability to manage diverse cases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinic setting

Nice to Have Skills:

• Bilingual in Spanish or other languages highly preferred
• Familiarity with the High Desert area and its unique community needs
• Experience working in high-volume or socioeconomically challenged environments
• Previous locum or temporary assignment experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Residency training in Pediatrics
• At least 2 years of pediatric clinical experience post-residency

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility for scheduled lunch breaks
• Must submit necessary documentation for payor credentialing (e.g., driver’s license, social security card, medical board certificates, DEA, malpractice insurance) to facilitate onboarding
• No privileges required; immediate start after access setup
