Join Our Team as a Pediatric Hospitalist – Make a Difference in Children's Lives

Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, well-baby rounding, NICU coverage at night, ED consults, and pediatric admissions on a case-by-case basis. You will play a vital role in managing neonatal and pediatric emergencies, supporting hospital staff, and providing top-tier patient care.
Required Skills:
- Active California medical license and CA DEA registration
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
- Ability to work 24-hour in-house shifts (8 am-8 am), with at least one day between shifts
- Exceptional clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in neonatal intensive care or high-risk obstetric settings
- Previous in-hospital pediatric or NICU coverage
- Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills in emergent situations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of pediatric residency program
- Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital-based pediatric practice
- Demonstrated experience with neonatal resuscitation and high-acuity cases
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as needed; reimbursement details provided
- Availability for shifts requiring in-house presence for 5-7 days per month
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date certifications and licensure
