We are launching a new Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) fellowship program, with plans to seek ACGME accreditation within the next year, and are seeking a visionary physician to serve as Program Director.

About the Role

The Program Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading the development of Cleveland Clinic’s PEM fellowship. This position offers the rare opportunity to build a program from the ground up, mentor future leaders in pediatric emergency medicine, and contribute to a nationally respected academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of the PEM fellowship program
• Ensure full compliance with ACGME accreditation requirements and standards
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate fellows in both clinical and scholarly activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance pediatric emergency care
• Design, implement, and continuously evaluate curriculum and educational outcomes

Qualifications

• Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Demonstrated leadership experience within academic medicine or graduate medical education
• Strong commitment to teaching, mentorship, and faculty development
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
