Job Title: Medical Director – OB/GYN (Perm, Full-Time)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary OB/GYN Medical Director to lead our Women’s Health Program at Mercy Health - Anderson Hospital. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to combine exceptional clinical practice with strategic leadership within one of the Midwest’s most respected Catholic health systems. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified OB/GYN with a minimum of five years of experience, committed to advancing women’s health services and fostering a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive clinical care, including outpatient consultations, surgical procedures, and deliveries, at Mercy Health - Anderson Hospital, which has a Level II NICU and approximately 1,600 deliveries annually.
• Lead the development and strategic growth of the Women's Health service line on Cincinnati’s east side.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and community partners to improve quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Mentor and oversee physicians, advanced practice providers, certified nurse-midwives, and maternal-fetal medicine support staff from the University of Cincinnati.
• Drive program expansion initiatives, incorporating innovative practices and evidence-based medicine.
• Balance clinical duties with administrative responsibilities, including dedicated leadership time and participation in a 1:6 call rotation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Minimum of 5 years of OB/GYN clinical experience.
• Proven leadership skills with previous experience in a medical director or equivalent role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building abilities.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements:

• No locum, 1099, J1, or H1B visa support.
• Willingness to participate in a structured call schedule.
• Not accepting candidates with less than five years of OB/GYN experience.
