Pediatric Hospitalist

Required Skills:
- Neonatal resuscitation and airway management, including intubation
- Neonatal UVC/UAC placement, UVC delivery room placement
- Management of neonatal air leaks, pneumothorax, including needle decompression
- Lumbar puncture procedures
- EKG interpretation
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Active California medical license
- Board-certified or Board-eligible within 3-5 years of residency
- Ability to work a 24-hour call shift (6am-6am); in-house presence not mandatory
Nice to Have Skills:
- Ventilator management
- Neonatal chest tube insertion
- Experience with neonatal emergencies and advanced airway techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of pediatric residency
- 2+ years of recent hospital clinical experience in pediatric or neonatal care
- Demonstrated proficiency in neonatal procedures and emergent interventions
Other Requirements:
- Clean professional file; no malpractice or unresolved NPDB issues
- Valid California medical license
- Updated CV with hospital affiliations
- Willingness to adhere to privileging requirements, including case logs and recent hospital activity documentation
- Availability for urgent dates: May 7-11, May 21-25, June 4-15, June 19-21
