We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to provide exceptional inpatient care in a vibrant hospital environment. This critical role ensures the health and well-being of neonatal and pediatric patients through high-quality clinical practice and collaboration. Required Skills
- Neonatal resuscitation and airway management, including intubation
- Management of neonatal pneumothorax and air leaks, including needle decompression
- Emergent UVC placement in delivery room settings
- UVC/UAC tube placements
- Lumbar puncture procedures
- EKG interpretation
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during 24-hour call shifts
Nice to Have Skills
- Ventilator management
- Chest tube insertion in neonates
- Experience with pediatric airway management and critical care procedures
- Fluency in additional medical skills or certifications tailored to pediatric inpatient care
Preferred Education and Experience
- MD or DO degree with active California medical license
- Board-certified or Board eligible in Pediatrics within 3-5 years of residency completion
- Current and unrestricted ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital-based clinical experience in pediatric or neonatal care
- Documented case logs for surgical procedures if applicable
Other Requirements
- Clear professional malpractice and NPDB reports; files must be free of unresolved issues
- Availability for urgent shifts on 5/7-5/11, 5/21-5/25, 6/4-6/15, and 6/19-6/21
- Ability to work 6am to 6am on a 24-hour call schedule, with no requirement to be in-house during shifts
- Must upload an up-to-date CV with hospital affiliations and complete privileging requirements prior to start
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and a robust referral bonus program.
