Required Skills:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice in Ohio
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
• Proven experience in inpatient neurological care
• Proficiency in radiologic exam interpretation (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of EEG, EMG, thrombolytic therapy, and brain death examinations
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, inpatient hospital environment
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior locum or temporary physician experience
• Additional certifications in advanced neurological procedures
• Multilingual abilities supporting diverse patient populations
• Experience coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 2+ years of post-residency experience in neurology
• Prior experience working in hospital-based inpatient neurology settings
• Active Ohio medical license and DEA certification

Other Requirements:

• Availability for coverage from June 29 to July 12
• Ability to interpret radiologic exams unofficially
• Willingness to rotate within a collaborative group environment with other neurologists and advanced practice providers
• Travel and lodging expenses reimbursed; lodging approximately $150/night
