The Division of Hematology and Oncology at UCSF Health is seeking applicants for a Breast Oncologist position to join one of UCSF’s affiliated clinical practices in the Bay Area. While opportunities exist to provide care across a broad range of malignant conditions, this position will focus primarily, though not exclusively, on the management of hematologic disorders, both malignant and non?malignant.
Our goal is to recruit faculty who are committed to delivering high?quality, equitable, and patient?centered care while working collaboratively within UCSF Health’s integrated academic and community care model.
Position Overview
The Breast Medical Oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient cancer care to patients with breast disease, including both acute and long?term management across the spectrum of breast cancer. This role emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, partnering closely with surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, imaging, and supportive services to deliver high?quality, patient?centered care. The physician will also coordinate complex cases with UCSF’s tertiary and quaternary care hospitals.
Oncologists in this position will have opportunities for academic collaboration, participation in clinical trials, and professional growth within UCSF’s nationally recognized oncology program, with expectations aligned to clinical excellence, research engagement, and educational contributions.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The base salary range for this position is $450,000.00 This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
