Internal Medicine - Cardiology
Join our dynamic and esteemed cardiology practice as an Internal Medicine - Cardiologist, where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and elevate cardiac care standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Tilt Table Tests, and Conscious Sedation with proficiency.
- Conduct stress tests, stress echo/Dobutamine stress echo, tilt table tests, ECGs, echocardiograms, and TEE procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care.
- Check in daily with the cardiovascular testing team from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday through Friday).
- Manage weekday call responsibilities; no weekend call required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven proficiency in TEE, Tilt Table Testing, and Conscious Sedation procedures.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular diagnostics and patient management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in advanced cardiac imaging techniques.
- Prior employment in high-volume cardiology practices.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency or fellowship experience in cardiology practice.
Other Requirements:
- Active medical license and board certification required.
- Ability to handle approximately 75 EKGs, 15-20 stress tests, 15-20 stress echos, and 1-2 TEE procedures daily.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours with no weekend shifts.
Compensation for this position is set at an hourly pay rate of $1.00.
