Position: Radiation Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiation Oncology Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and supervise patient radiation treatment plans according to physician prescriptions and established protocols.
• Utilize advanced radiation therapy equipment and techniques, including external beam radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and image-guided modalities.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including treatment simulations and evaluations.
• Monitor patient progress throughout treatment courses, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and radiation protection policies to safeguard patients and staff.
• Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of treatment plans, procedures, and patient responses in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advances in radiation oncology.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure or certification in Radiation Oncology or a related medical radiation discipline.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy, Medical Physics, Medical Dosimetry, or a comparable field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
• Proven experience working with radiation therapy equipment and treatment planning systems.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and protocols.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
