Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Tilt Table Tests, and Conscious Sedation procedures
- Strong diagnostic skills in cardiac testing and interpretation
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to supervise and read cardiac tests confidently
- Effective communication skills with clinical teams and patients
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with stress echo and Dobutamine stress testing
- Familiarity with EKG interpretation
- Previous experience supervising cardiac procedures in a busy practice
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology or Internal Medicine with subspecialty training in Cardiology
- Prior experience in cardiac testing environments preferred
- Minimum of 2 years performing cardiac diagnostic procedures
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to perform TEE, Tilt Table Tests, and Conscious Sedation reliably
- Ability to handle a high volume of cardiac tests (e.g., 75 Echo, 15-20 TEE, 15-20 Stress tests)
- No call responsibilities required during this assignment
- Willingness to work weekday hours from 7 am to 5 pm
- Clinical supervision and reading of cardiac studies from a busy practice setting
- Commitment to maintaining licensure and certifications; travel and certification reimbursements when applicable
