Blanchard Valley Health System is seeking a physician to serve as Medical Director of Occupational Health & Urgent Care, combining clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, in Findlay, NW Ohio.
- 50% Urgent Care (Physicians Plus)
- 30% Occupational Health (Well at Work)
- 20% Administrative Leadership
Clinical Practice (80%)
- Provide urgent care services for acute illnesses and injuries
- Deliver occupational medicine services, including work-related injury care, physicals, and return-to-work evaluations
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification required
- Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and protocols
- Provide oversight of quality initiatives and OPPE processes
- Collaborate with and support Advanced Practice Providers
- Train and onboard new providers
- Partner with operational leaders to advance service line goals
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $300,000 (includes vacation and CME)
- Signing Bonus: $100,000 ($50k Year 1, $50k Year 2)
- Relocation Assistance: $10,000
- Vacation/CME: 200 hours (5 weeks)
- CME & Board Certification: $5,000 annually
- Retirement: 403(b) with 4% employer match beginning Year 2

- Sick Time: Accrual up to 600 hours (FT: 4 hours/pay; PT: 2 hours/pay)
