NorthBay Health is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician to join our highly respected, community-focused health system in Northern California. As part of NorthBay Health's Center for Primary Care, you will provide exceptional pediatric care alongside a collaborative team of family medicine, internal medicine, specialty physicians, and advanced practice providers.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Outpatient-only practice
  • Shared and balanced call schedule across physicians and practice locations
  • Average patient volume of approximately 20 patients per day

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients across a broad range of conditions
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
  • Monitor patient progress, treatment effectiveness, and medication adherence
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and vaccinations as appropriate
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists when necessary
  • Participate in hospital committees and physician leadership activities as assigned
  • Partner with and provide clinical oversight for APPs to ensure exceptional patient care

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Active California medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience practicing in a pediatric primary care setting preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care
