The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System is seeking a dedicated, mission?driven Medical Oncologist to join our expanding Medicine Service at the Las Vegas VA Medical Center. As a VHA Oncologist, you will provide comprehensive hematology/oncology care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help strengthen access in a region with significant specialty shortages. Enterprise data highlights a sustained need for Oncology specialists in Southern Nevada and active recruitment efforts for Hem/Onc providers.
Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of hematologic and oncologic conditions.
Provide inpatient and outpatient Oncology care within a collaborative care team.
Participate in tumor boards, care coordination meetings, and multidisciplinary rounds.
Perform consultations, follow-up care, and treatment planning.
Engage in quality improvement and evidence-based oncology practices.
Provide patient education, survivorship guidance, and ongoing symptom management.
Work closely with the Oncology Nurse Navigator team to ensure seamless Veteran care.

MD or DO degree and board certification/eligibility in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology.
Unrestricted U.S. medical license (one license from any state is accepted).
