What You’ll Do: - Provide outpatient Hematology and Oncology consultations and follow-up care
- Support inpatient and ER consults related to Hem/Onc cases, including inpatient port access and biopsies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including support staff and virtual hematologists
- Participate in tumor boards and ongoing patient management
- Maintain accurate documentation using Nuance dictation system
- Cover urgent patient needs during scheduled clinic hours and call rotation
What You Need: - PA medical license (or eligible for licensure)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
- Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology
- At least 1-2 years of experience preferred, less experienced candidates considered
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
About the Assignment:This role is based in Chambersburg, PA at a leading facility with an accredited Cancer Institute. The provider will see a mix of oncology and hematology cases, primarily outpatient, with inpatient consult support and treatment administration such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG, and injections. No inpatient chemotherapy or BMT care required. The team includes a Nurse Practitioner and virtual hematologist, with participation in tumor board activities.
