Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship training program is required
Opportunity to develop and grow a dedicated Endocrine Oncology practice focused on the diagnosis and management of advanced thyroid cancer, thyroid nodular disease, and adrenocortical carcinoma
Perform thyroid and cervical lymph node fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsies in a dedicated outpatient FNA clinic
Opportunity to collaborate with a high-volume endocrine surgery program consisting of three dedicated endocrine surgeons performing approximately 800 major endocrine procedures annually
Join an established multidisciplinary endocrine oncology program alongside three high-volume endocrine surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and advanced practice providers
This outpatient-focused position offers four days of clinic and one day of dedicated FNA clinic weekly, with no routine hospital-based call coverage
Opportunity to help expand a unique endocrine oncology program and assume management of advanced thyroid cancer patients receiving targeted systemic therapies
Collaborate with one of the region's highest-volume endocrine surgery programs, which performs approximately 1,600–1,800 outpatient visits, 800–900 new consultations, more than 525 thyroid and cervical lymph node FNA biopsies, and 800 major endocrine surgical procedures annually, including thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal surgery.
