This is a unique opportunity for a visionary physician-scientist and genomics leader to shape and expand a system-wide strategy for precision medicine, genomic discovery, and translational innovation across one of the nation's leading academic health systems.

The Chief Genomics Officer will provide executive leadership for genomic medicine initiatives, driving the integration of cutting-edge genomic technologies into clinical care, research, education, and population health. This leader will collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders across University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University to advance transformational programs that improve patient outcomes through personalized medicine.

Academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor will be offered commensurate with experience andaccomplishments.

Qualifications - External

  • MD, DO, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree.
  • Board certification in Medical Genetics and Genomics or related specialty preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in genomic medicine, precision medicine, clinical genetics, translational research, or related disciplines.
  • Proven record of academic achievement, including peer-reviewed publications, grant funding, and national recognition.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing strategic initiatives.
  • Eligible for appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Ohio.
