What You’ll Do - Provide adult Hematology and Oncology patient care at two facilities
- Cover one week of 24-hour call shifts per month, supporting tele-consultations and in-person inpatient care
- Collaborate with support staff, including dedicated nursing teams
- Perform inpatient consultations and manage treatment plans
- Support clinic responsibilities during regular hours and call week
- Document patient interactions using Epic EMR system
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team that handles complex cases
What You Need - Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Valid Virginia medical license (must have in hand, no licensing assistance provided)
- BLS certification
- DEA registration
- At least 1 year of recent Hem/Onc experience
- Clean background with no MP history
About the AssignmentThis position offers the opportunity to work at a reputable facility known for its comprehensive adult Hematology and Oncology services. Floating between two sister facilities, providers will treat a diverse adult patient population, perform inpatient consultations, and contribute to telehealth initiatives. Support staff are dedicated and experienced, ensuring seamless patient care delivery.
