What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient neonatal and pediatric coverage, including neonatology and pediatrics
- Manage neonatal airway emergencies, including intubation and pneumothorax decompression
- Perform emergent procedures such as UVC/UAC placement and lumbar punctures
- Interpret EKGs in neonatal and pediatric patients
- Collaborate with emergency and anesthesia teams for complex cases
- Support NICU care down to 32 weeks, including neonatal resuscitations and management of preemies
- Ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment
What You Need
- Required:
- Active California medical license
- DEA license
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics or Neonatology (within 3-5 years)
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications
- Preferred:
- Neonatal airway management experience
- Ventilator management, chest tube insertion skills

This role is based at a leading facility in Eureka, CA, primarily focusing on neonatal intensive care with about 80% NICU and 20% pediatrics. You will provide essential neonatal emergent care, including airway management, UVC placements, and neonatal resuscitations.
