What You'll Do
- Rounding on inpatients post-operation
- First assist in cardiothoracic surgeries
- Conduct patient evaluations in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Interpret cardiac imaging, labs, EKGs, and diagnostic tests like ECMO, IABP, Impella
- Provide coverage during scheduled shifts and on-call periods (night and weekend)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cardiac cases
What You Need
Required: - Active California PA license and DEA
- Board-certified in cardiothoracic surgery or related field
- Experience in cardiac intensive care, surgery assist, or inpatient cardiology
- Skills in EKG interpretation, cardiac imaging, and critical care procedures
Preferred: - Experience with endoscopic and radial artery harvesting
- Familiarity with advanced cardiac devices (ECMO, IABP, Impella)
