What You’ll Do
  • Conduct new patient exams, cleanings, and X-rays
  • Perform simple extractions and other general dental procedures
  • Provide care primarily to pediatric patients, including those with special needs
  • Assist in managing clinic operations and patient flow
  • Support community outreach and mobile dental initiatives
  • Collaborate with a team of dental professionals in a busy, community-focused setting
What You Need
Required:
  • Dental license in good standing (or in process)
  • Mid-career experience as a dentist preferred
  • Experience working in community clinics, FQHCs, or rural hospitals
  • Ability to provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations

Preferred:
  • Experience with special needs populations
  • Spanish language skills
  • Interest in future leadership roles
About the Assignment
Join a community-oriented dental clinic established in 1990, serving over 8,000 annual patient visits focused on children, pregnant women, and special needs populations. The clinic operates a mobile unit traveling throughout Sonoma County to increase access to dental care for low-income residents. The mobile clinics serve elementary schools and other high-need sites, providing essential dental treatments with rotating dentists.
