Emergency Medicine Residency Program Director- OhioHealth Doctors Hospital

Description:

• 0.5 FTE medical education role
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the OhioHealth Emergency Medicine Residency Program
• Oversees resident lifecycle management, including recruitment, evaluation, promotion, remediation, and professional development
• Ensures accreditation and educational compliance with ACGME requirements
• Collaborates across departments, hospital leadership, and Graduate Medical Education to ensure high-quality clinical and educational experiences

Requirements:

1. Applicant must be a Board Certified MD or DO
2. Applicant must have at least five years of core faculty experience in an Emergency Medicine Residency
3. Applicant must have at least eight years of teaching experience

• Three or more years as assistant PD or higher preferred
• Formal training in education theory preferred
• Clinical practice in an osteopathically recognized program preferred
