Physician - Laborist

Saint Agnes Medical Providers (SAMP) is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible- OB/GYN Laborist to join our respected and established Women's Health team in Fresno, California. This full-time or part-time opportunity is ideal for physicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality obstetric care, clinical excellence, and working within a collaborative, physician-friendly environment.

Essential Functions:

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, including routine and high-risk obstetric cases.
• Triage, evaluate, and manage patients presenting to Labor & Delivery and the OB Emergency Department.
• Provide coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.
• Manage labor and delivery patients through the continuum of inpatient care.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
• Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation.
• Focus exclusively on inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care with no outpatient responsibilities.
• Flexible scheduling with 12-hour and 24-hour in-house shifts available.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an accredited U.S. OB/GYN residency program.
• Eligible for California medical licensure.
• J-1 and H-1B visa candidates are welcome to apply.
