Physician - Geriatric Medicine

Olmsted Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Physician with geriatric experience for our Active Aging Services patients. A physician with experience in palliative care and adult mental health is preferred. This position would join other physicians, nurse practitioners and support staff. Medical Directorship experience is a plus but not necessary.

• Care for residents in Nursing Homes, Assisting Living Centers, clinic settings, and individual patient homes
• Assist with care planning, admissions, and facility discharges
• Cover six Rochester NHs and one rural (around 30 miles from Rochester)
• Back-up coverage for another physician as needed
• Minimal After-Hours Call: Participate in a rotating phone-call schedule approximately once every 8-10 weeks, averaging just 2-10 calls during your assigned week. Calls are primarily from nursing homes regarding routine patient concerns, such as falls or abnormal blood glucose readings. No in-person call coverage required.
• 0.75 FTE salary is $205,500

• BC/BE Geriatrics or Internal Medicine/Family Medicine
• MD/DO
• Active MN medical license
• BLS
