NOTICE OF FILING APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT CERTIFICATION

Title:                           Associate Staff, Internal Medicine and Geriatrics

Worksites:                 Beachwood Family Health Center, 26900 Cedar Road, Beachwood, OH 44122 (occasional telecommuting permitted)

Duties:                        The Associate Staff,  Internal Medicine and Geriatrics provides coverage at Cleveland Clinic’s Beachwood  Family  Health  Center  (26900  Cedar  Road,  Beachwood,  OH  44122).  He  or  she specializes in the administration of outpatient primary and preventive care for the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of chronically ill and injured adult patients. Additionally, the Associate Staff,  Internal  Medicine  and  Geriatrics  requests  and  interprets  necessary  tests;  recommends follow-up visits; refers patients to specialists as necessary; prescribes and administers medications;  performs  routine  vaccinations;  provides  advice  regarding  personal  health  and  hygiene;  and participates  in  clinical  research.  This  position  includes  on-call  responsibilities  and  night  and weekend duties as needed. Occasional telecommuting permitted.

 

Requirements:           At a minimum, the position requires an MD or foreign equivalent as determined by a credentials evaluation  or  as  evidenced  by  an  ECFMG  certificate,  completion  of  an  ACGME  accredited Residency in Internal Medicine, board eligibility or board certification in Internal Medicine, and eligibility for medical licensure in Ohio.

 

Salary:                        Commensurate with qualifications and experience ($319,500 per year)
