The Department of Neurosciences at New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC) is seeking a MD or DO who is board eligible or certified in Neurology, Epilepsy, EEG, or clinical neurophysiology fellowship training or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will grow and support already existing critical care EEG, epilepsy monitoring, and ambulatory EEG programs. The candidate also will provide care and consultation to patients with seizures, epilepsy, and related conditions. The ideal candidate will also be able to perform and interpret technician-assisted EMG/NCS. The position is hospital-based and does not include outpatient clinic although up to one day a week of clinic may be arranged. The department also has capabilities to perform evoked potentials and autonomic studies.
